Dick Scobee's personally owned model of Space Shuttle Columbia, riding piggyback on a Boeing 747. Although Scobee never served on a STS Columbia mission, he piloted Challenger STS-41-C in 1984 and of course, commanded the ill-fated Challenger STS-51-L mission in 1986. Model measures approximately 14'' long x 7'' tall x 11.75'' wide across wings. With label of Halnet International, Inc. to underside of base. Repair to tip of wing and a few cracks to pieces including tail wing of Columbia. Very good condition. With an LOA from Scobee's brother.
