''Blondie'' Sunday comic strip hand-drawn and signed by Chic Young from 18 January 1948, featuring Blondie, Dagwood, Cookie and Daisy. In this 12 panel strip, Dagwood buys a water desalination machine -- ''the biggest thing since the atomic bomb and bubble gum'' -- as Blondie trades in the money he lost for a new hat. Strip measures 19.5'' x 17'', in two portions. Light toning and minor wear, overall very good plus condition.
