Bernard Montgomery Autograph Letter Signed -- "…When do you propose to come here for the pruning?…" -- 1964

British Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery signs an autograph letter on his personal stationery to his gardener Chadbund. The note reads, "…When do you propose to come here for the pruning? / Apple Trees / Shrubs / Roses / Yrs. sincerely / Montgomery of Alamein". He pens it in blue ink and dates the letter 25 February 1964. A pencil checkmark appears next to the "Roses" item on the list. Single page measures 5" x 8". A crease bisects the letter, else fine condition.
