Agatha Christie signed first edition, first printing of ''A Murder Is Announced'', housed in the first printing dust jacket with the 8/6 price, as called for. London: Collins Crime Club, 1950. Signed by Christie on the front free endpaper in the month of publication, ''With love from / Agatha / June 1950.'' Bound in orange-red cloth boards with black lettering, book measures 5'' x 7.5''. Jacket has light shelf wear, and label over price, but still identifiable as 8/6 under magnification; very good to near fine condition. Book has some sunning to spine, else near fine.
