Typed letter signed by master composer Aaron Copland regarding the 1950 film ''Cinderella''. Written from the MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire, Copland writes to a Mr. Adelmann, ostensibly regarding the music for ''Cinderella''. Letter reads in part, ''...If you care to you may mail me your Cinderella to the above address. I think I ought to warn you, however, that whatever my reaction I am unable to undertake any new project for at least a year. In view of that you may wish to hold on to it until then...[signed] Aaron Copland''. Single page measures 8.5'' x 11''. Shallow folds with one affecting signature, three hole punched on left margin, and some discoloration along right edge. Overall very good condition.
