Rare 10'' x 8'' glossy signed photo of Gil McDougald's grand slam, the first grand slam ever by a rookie, during game five of the 1951 World Series on 9 October 1951. In an epic match-up between the New York Giants and Yankees, the Yankees went on to beat the Giants in six games that year. Photo depicts McDougald's grand slam as it was happening in a packed New York Polo Grounds stadium. Signatures in blue ink include ''Eddie Stanky'', ''Al Dark'', ''Bobby Thomson'', ''Monte Irvin'', ''Larry Jansen'', ''Gil McDougald'', ''Whitey Lockman'', '''Wes' Westrum'' and one unidentifiable signature.
