Carl Jung typed letter signed, composed on his personal stationery on 10 February 1953. Composed to his mentee, Dr. Rivkah Scharf, Jung makes numerous references to religious works. Translated from the original German, letter reads in full, ''Dear Doctor! / I am interested in the Teraphim because I might still mention them in my segment on the Catholic Mass. Unfortunately, I do not have a proof copy of the 2nd Edition of 'Job' anymore. I only made changes to the text portions on Adam's children and on the people's burden of the Imago Dei. It is not very crucial. / Thank you very much for verifying the bin Gorion [sic] text portion. / Best greetings, / Your devoted / [signed] C.G. Jung.'' Single page letter measures 8.125'' x 5.75''. Fold and minor toning, overall very good plus condition with an exceptionally bold signature.
