Gorgeous gold and ivory bread plate, featuring star-rimmed border and the Presidential seal at top, encircled by the words ''Vice President of the United States''. Design method is acid etched and gold filled, dating the plate to sometime before 2005, with Lenox mark on underside further dating it to sometime between 1970-1988. Plate was likely used either at the Vice President's residence or on Air Force II, not an exhibition plate. Measures 6.25'' in diameter. Near fine condition.
