Lot of 33 negatives, with copyright (and accompanying print-outs) from the last interview of John Lennon, conducted at the Hit Factory on 6 December 1980, two days before his death. Photos, taken by Paul Williams of the BBC, are also possibly the last photo session of him apart from Annie Leibotwitz's the day of his death. The Hit Factory was where Lennon and Ono recorded "Double Fantasy", which they were promoting on this day in the interview with Andy Peebles for BBC. Nine of the 33 photographs feature Lennon and Ono, one additional photo features Ono alone and the remaining 23 photos include Peebles and unidentified people. Two of the photographs have appeared in the book "On Camera, Off Guard" and one with the blue background (showing Peebles next to John and Yoko) has been published, but the rest are unpublished and consignor is transferring copyright for all negatives, which was transferred from Williams with accompanying paperwork. All photos are refreshingly candid; Peebles described Lennon in this last interview as chatty, friendly and very happy. Negatives appear near fine.
