Vint Cerf signed sketch of the Internet as it existed in 1977, a set of connections, both rudimentary and groundbreaking, between PRNET (Packet Radio Network), ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) and SATNET (Atlantic Packet Satellite Network). Cerf is one of two men credited with inventing the Internet along with Bob Kahn, both of whom won the Turing Award in 2004, the highest achievement in computer science. Sketch measures 5'' x 3.25'', completed by Cerf in black felt-tip. Near fine condition.
