Copy is number 187 of 250 in the limited edition, boldly signed in fountain pen by the composer George Gershwin, the librettist, lyricist and novelist DuBose Heyward, the lyricist Ira Gershwin, and the Broadway director Rouben Mamoulian. This piano-vocal score (no orchestral score has ever been published) is handsomely bound in publisher's original full red morocco, with raised bands and top edge gilt. Measures 9.625'' x 12.625''. Some scuffing to boards with spine labels partially gone, and front and rear joints starting. Interior pages are clean including limitation page found in rear. Overall in good to very good condition.
