Kurt Vonnegut signed first edition of ''Slaughterhouse-Five'', from a later printing, published by Seymour Lawrence: Delacorte Press: 1969. Vonnegut adds his distinctive illustrated signature to the half title page in black felt tip. A blurb on the title page advertises the fact that this book is inspired by the author's experience as a survivor of the fire bombing of Dresden during WWII. Runs 186pp. Bound in turquoise cloth boards with silver and red metallic lettering. With original unclipped dustjacket in near fine condition save for light toning, a small tear to the bottom edge and a small spot of surface loss on the front panel. Measures 5.75'' x 8.5''. Book shows subtle fading to board edges and a small abrasion to tail edge. Near fine overall.
