A famous still from the movie showcases Welles as Kane receiving the silver trophy cup, a scene cited frequently as a prime example of the use of deep focus, the groundbreaking cinematography technique for which ”Citizen Kane” is known. The film’s mastermind and star Orson Wellles assumes a larger-than-life pose in character as the eponymous publishing mogul, with supporting cast drawn in the background and billed the right as the famed ”Mercury Actors”, Welles’ longtime fellow actors who he cast in his film. Matte paper poster measures 18.5” x 24.5”. Creasing and separation at fold intersection, else near fine. Sold for $313.
