Tex Schramm Press Pin Super Bowl I Dallas Cowboys
Rare piece of Cowboys and Super Bowl memorabilia, the press pin belonging to Tex Schramm from Super Bowl I. Gold Balfour tie clasp press pin is engraved upon a gold football, “AFL vs NFL / 1st World Championship / 1966 / Los Angeles Coliseum.” Pin and clasp measure approximately 1.75″ with the football measuring .75″. Clasp is marked “Balfour 1/20 12K GF [gold filled].” Pin is marked “1/10 10K GF.” Acquired at Schramm’s Dallas estate sale, with Schramm’s Dallas Cowboys luggage tag for team travel on United also included. Previous auction records also prove the pin’s validity. Near fine. Sold for $1,286.

John Matuszak’s Vince Lombardi Super Bowl XI Trophy — Exceedingly Rare Trophy Made for Players of Only a Few Super Bowl Winning Teams
Vince Lombardi Super Bowl XI trophy given to defensive lineman John Matuszak of the Oakland Raiders, for their first Super Bowl win in 1977 against the Minnesota Vikings. Silver-plated trophy was ordered by Raiders owner Al Davis for each of his players, the first time Vince Lombardi replica trophies had been given to individual team members. A small handful of owners have since followed Davis’ example, making these player trophies exceedingly rare, even more so one owned by standout player John Matuszak. This trophy made by R.S. Owens & Co. is the three-quartered size version of the Tiffany made Vince Lombardi trophy (the larger of the two), and measures 18″ tall, situated on a triangular base measuring about 9″ on each side. Engraved upon the column reads, “Vince Lombardi Trophy / [NFL logo] / Super Bowl XI / AFC vs NFC”. Upon the base is an engraved silver plate which reads, “The Oakland Raiders / World Champions / John Matuszak / Oakland 32 – Minnesota 14 / January 9, 1977”. In very good condition with only some cleaning needed to the silver plating. Trophy accompanied by certificate of authenticity by Matuszak’s sister. An impressive tribute to John Matuszak and the Oakland Raiders. Sold for $9,975.
Beautiful pewter trophy awarded to longtime Dallas Cowboy offensive coordinator Jim Myers in 1987. Myers coached for the Cowboys for a remarkable 25 years, serving as coaching legend Tom Landry’s offensive line coach before moving on to become Landry’s offensive coordinator and associate head coach, spanning the years of 1962 to 1986. The trophy is a replica of the iconic Vince Lombardi Super Bowl trophy, and features Myers’ name affixed in gold to the center of the front. Etched near the bottom of the front of the trophy is written; ”Always a Champion / Your Touch Remains / 1987 – Dallas Cowboys”. Written to the other two sides of the three-sided trophy are the names of 65 members of the Dallas Cowboys organization including Landry and famed team executive Tex Schramm. The colonial pewter trophy measures 13.5” tall and 5.5” to the widest portion of the base. In very good to near fine condition. Sold for $7,500.
