Sell Your Rick Griffin Grateful Dead Art
Here is the original artwork for the Dylan & the Dead album cover by Rick Griffin that we sold:
“Dylan & the Dead” Original Artwork by Rick Griffin — 1989
Original “Dylan & the Dead” album cover artwork by Rick Griffin, the artist of The Grateful Dead’s most famous album covers and one of psychedelic rock’s biggest poster artists. Griffin’s colorful painting on thin matte paper stock commemorates “Dylan & the Dead,” the 1989 collaborative live album between Bob Dylan and The Grateful Dead. The colorful piece of art displays a drawing of Bob Dylan next to a drawing of the Dead’s famous skeleton motif, with a freight train running through the two portraits. The paint colors are slightly different than the finished version, showing the various steps in Griffin’s creative process. Painting, which measures 19″ x 17.5″, has original pencil marks and light handling wear. Near fine condition. Sold for $2,507.
The following are some additional music items we sold:

Also with a COA by Roger Epperson. Sold for $6,222.
