Sell Your Dr Seuss Horton Hears a Who Book Signed
Horton Hatches the Egg was published in 1940 and was the debut appearance of Dr. Seuss’s Horton the Elephant character. The story is about a mother bird who tricks Horton, a sweet and good-natured elephant, to sit on her nest in a tree while she goes on a vacation. Horton continues to protect the egg while his friends tease him, throughout cold climate, and out of harm from hunters. The egg finally hatches and is revealed to be a bird and elephant hybrid. Horton Hatches the Egg was a success and has been used in discussions of adoption, surrogacy, economics and feminism.
