Norman Rockwell signed & inscribed sketch with an additional inscription by his son Thomas Rockwell. Title page of “Norman Rockwell / My Adventures as an Illustrator…As Told to Thomas Rockwell,” removed from the volume & signed & inscribed with an original sketch of a dog by Norman Rockwell. Inscription reads, “My best wishes to Tom Mahoney / from his faithful friend / Norman Rockwell.” Additionally signed by Rockwell’s son, “and to Barnaby’s comrade in arms, Johnny, from / Tom Rockwell.” Page measures 5.75″ x 9″. Fine condition. Sold for $1,172.

Norman Rockwell Original Ink Drawing of a Dog Smoking a Pipe — Drawn Within ”Norman Rockwell Illustrator”

Norman Rockwell original drawing of a whiskered dog smoking a pipe. Drawn within a first edition of his 1946 book ”Norman Rockwell Illustrator” signed by the legendary Americana painter. Inscription next to the drawing reads, ”My very best wishes to William Hamilton, artist, sincerely / Norman Rockwell”. Volume includes 208 pages loaded with both black & white and color illustrations, measuring 9” x 12”. Lot also includes a landscape painting by the recipient William Hamilton, a California painter. Some chipping on the dustjacket, which is very good. Book is near fine. Sold for $850.

Norman Rockwell Original Art Signed — Sketch of a Dog — “Your Faithful From Norman Rockwell” — Rotary Club Program Where Rockwell Spoke — 1948

Norman Rockwell original sketch of a dog in blue ink, signed “your faithful from Norman Rockwell.” Sketch is on inside, bottom right margin of a North Adams Rotary Club Pro Merito Banquet program. Dated 7 June 1948 with Rockwell listed as the artist speaker from Arlington, Vermont. Sketch has retained it’s color and signature is also very dark. Includes menu and list of officers and members. Measures 8.5″ x 7″ when open. Light crease to right of front cover. A few tiny smudges, tape marks and light soil to program, else very good. Sold for $783.
