Sell Your Taisho Autograph
Emperor Taisho ruled Japan between July 1912 and December 1926, also referred to as the Taisho era. The era is remembered socially for its consumption of Western pop culture, including movies, modern art, movies and jazz. Politically, the Taisho era was a period of political ambiguity and passed the extreme Peace Preservation Act of 1925. These collective laws banned any form of expression that opposed governing figures and resulted in severe punishment for those who strayed from the laws.
