Ultra Rare Bob Marley Signed “Uprising” Concert Program with PSA/DNA COA
Very rare Bob Marley autograph on an “Uprising” concert program, signed on the back cover in red pen, “Love Rasta / Bob Marley.” Bob Marley & The Wailers’ 1980 “Uprising” album is considered one of their best with “Could You Be Loved” and “Redemption Song.” As Marley died only one year later, any signed items by him are exceedingly rare, and signed “Uprising” items are perhaps limited to a handful. Colorful program in excellent condition with only a few pinholes and minor creasing. Program runs sixteen pages and measures 8.25″ x 11.75″. Sold for $3,670.
Metallica Signed & Inscribed High School Yearbook — Singer James Hetfield Signs Ron McGovney’s Book — “…keep practicing bass, watch General Hospital…get long hair & stay skinny…”
James Hetfield, Metallica’s lead singer, signed inscription in the senior high school yearbook of Metallica bass player Ron McGovney. Hetfield’s lengthy note reads in part, “…I know ‘The Charm’ will happen…Too bad you can’t go to Ozzy…that party…will be a cranker, especially with ‘Leather Charm’ playing…Your heavy metal friend…” Also included is a numbered list of popular rock musicians in pencil on a sheet of loose leaf paper appearing to be in Hetfield’s hand. 1981 yearbook has student signatures, else near fine. Sold for $1,930.
Michael Jackson Signed Program From 2001
Michael Jackson signed concert program, “Michael Jackson 30th Anniversary Celebration: The Solo Years.” Program from the King of Pops’ last U.S. concert tour celebrating 30 years as a solo performer and reuniting Jackson with his brothers for the first time in 17 years. 92pp. full color program signed boldly in silver ink to cover. Autograph measures approximately 7.25″ x 6.25″; program, 8.5″ x 11″. Accompanied by 4″ x 6″ photo of Jackson signing the program. Creasing to lower right corner, else excellent condition. Sold for $1,470.
