Black Cat Mystery #50 CGC 9.4 Sold at Nate D. Sanders
Black Cat Mystery is a classic comic derived from the Black Cat franchise and of the same family as The Black Cat, The Black Cat Western and The Black Cat Mystic. Black Cat was created and illustrated by Al Gabriele and the comic books were published by Harvey Comics between 1941 and 1951, a time period known as the Golden Age of Comic Books. During this time modern comic books were published and familiar characters such as Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman made their first appearances. However, during Golden Age of Comic Books comic book writer and illustrator credits were not usually given, and poses a challenge in compiling a bibliography of the modern comic book originators.
