Rolling Stones Mick Jagger Autograph Sold

Mick Jagger, frontman of The Rolling Stones, is one of the few musicians who has managed to stay relevant for nearly six decades. The Rolling Stones formed in 1962 and named their band after the Muddy Waters track “Rollin’ Stone”. Original band members also included Keith Richards and Brian Jones on guitar, Bill Wyman on bass, Charlie Watts as the drummer and Ian Stewart as the pianist. The Rolling Stones have released 30 studio albums between 1964 and 2016 and are ranked among the top selling musical artists with having sold an estimated 66.5 million units. Fans and critics arguably consider the band to be the greatest rock and roll band.

Mick Jagger Writes to a Centenarian — “…I hear that you are going to be 100 years old…! What a marvelous milestone…I trust it has been eventful…”

Mick Jagger autograph letter signed. The Rolling Stones lead singer writes a heartfelt sentiment to an elderly fan: “Dear Arthur. Your very kind and polite grandson Mathew wrote to me to tell me that you were a fan of the Rolling Stones and that somehow that has been passed on to your grandson! Also more importantly I hear that you are going to be 100 years old at the end of February! What a marvellous [sic] milestone. I bet you never thought you would be blessed by such a long life and I trust it has been eventful. I bid you hearty congratulations and wish you well on such a magic occasion. With all my best wishes, Mick Jagger”. Two page letter is creased, else near fine. A fantastic and energetic letter imbued with feeling from one of the most magnetic and influential rock stars of the 20th century. Sold for $2,000.

The Rolling Stones Signed Limited Edition Artwork for ”Bridges to Babylon” — Measures 22.5” x 26”

The Rolling Stones signed lithographic artwork for their album ”Bridges to Babylon”. Limited edition art is #75 of 125, made by Stefan Sagmeister. Artwork is signed by Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts, also dated 1998 by Richards and Watts. With the Rolling Stones logo at lower right. Lithograph measures 22.5” x 26”, framed in blue to 25.5” x 29”. Near fine condition. Sold for $1,875.

Mick Jagger Autograph Letter Signed From 1965 — With Hand-Addressed Envelope by Mick

Mick Jagger autograph letter signed ”Mick xx” from 1965. Written in blue pen, letter reads in full: ”Dear Linda, Thanks a lot for your letter. I’m sorry I haven’t time to write very much, in a hurry, must go now, Mick xx”. Comes with original envelope postmarked from ”LONDON” on 2 April 1965. The Rolling Stones would release their smash hit, ”(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” just two months later on 6 June 1965. Letter measures 4.9” x 7.25”, envelope measures 5.9” x 3.5”. Envelope is torn from opening. Letter has folds and minor creasing. Both are in very good condition. Sold for $1,250.

Rolling Stones 10″ x 8″ Black and White Signed Photo — Signed by All Five Members Including Mick Jagger, Keith Richards & Mick Taylor — With PSA/DNA COA

Rare Rolling Stones 10″ x 8″ black and white signed photo, circa early 1970’s. Fantastic photo depicts the band performing onstage with signatures of each member, including Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts and Mick Taylor. Photo has some creasing and staining along edges, else very good condition. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA for all five signatures. Sold for $1,200.

Rolling Stones Signed Christmas Card

Rolling Stones signed Christmas card circa 1970s. Oversized German Christmas card signed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, and original band member, Ian “Stu” Stewart. Though a founding member of the band along with Brian Jones, Stewart, who died in 1985, rarely signed Stones pieces making this card bearing his signature extremely collectible. Card measures 8″ x 14.5″. Accompanied by JSA Letter of Authenticity. Some creasing and wear to spine, else excellent condition. Sold for $977.

Rolling Stones front man, Sir Mick Jagger autograph letter signed. Jagger inscribes a charming note regarding the 100th birthday of the receiver’s grandfather, ”Dear Matthew, How kind of you to write about your grandfather. I hope he has a lovely day + does not get pajamas! Mick J.” Folded letter measures 8.5” x 11”. Near fine condition. Sold for $686.
