First off, we sold this Titanic memorabilia / Kate Winslet screen-worn coat worn during the most epic and dramatic scenes in the film with a studio COA sold for an incredible $164,520 in February 2013.  The main reason for the high price is that this Titanic memorabilia came with a studio COA.  The Leonardo DiCaprio Titanic memorabilia following this paragraph did not come with a studio COA.

Now on to Leonardo DiCaprio Titanic memorabilia:

When Leonardo DiCaprio took the role of Jack Dawson in James Cameron’s 1997 blockbuster, “Titanic”, perhaps he practiced his most famous line in the entire film, “I’m the King of the world!” while he was in the shower, or driving, or in the privacy of his own home.

But when he belted it out at as he stood at the bow of the Titanic, every teenage girl who was watching the film for the fifth time in a row still swooned just a little.

His costume in that scene and much of the film is of course meant to depict poor, working class 1900’s starving artist.

His get-up is memorable because of the powerful scenes he evoked while in costume, and in this case, it was the man who made the clothes and not the other way around.

We were thrilled to have it in our September 26th auction.

And of course Leonardo DiCaprio screen-worn items from other films have done very well, too.

This screen-worn shirt from his 1998 film, ”The Man in the Iron Mask,” in which he starred as King Louis XIV and the title character sold for $2,520 as did other screen-worn costumes from that film.
