The Hollywood Walk of Fame lines the sidewalks of fifteen blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. With more than 2,400 stars and counting, it’s one of the highest honors in the entertainment industry.
Actors, musicians, directors, and many others who have earned this status receive a permanent space on the sidewalk commemorating their career forever.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce receives an average of 200 nominations for next contenders each year.

Walk of Fame Awards
We are proud to announce we have two official Hollywood Walk of Fame Awards honoring two of television and films’ biggest luminaries, Captain Kangaroo and Peter Fonda
Millions of children in 1950s America remember the jovial man who entertained them on television for 30 years with his whimsical wit, his charming presence, his iconic moustache.
As part of our upcoming auction, will be auctioning over 500+ personally owned and one-of-a-kind items from each stage in Robert Keeshan’s career as Captain Kangaroo.
Let’s take a look:
Plaque Honoring The Placement of The Captain Kangaroo Walk of Fame Awards in 1976
This 1976 plaque commemorates the placement of his star on the Walk of Fame. Elegant and dazzling, plaque features a metal star mounted to a rich blue velvet background.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce bestowed this incredible honor upon Keeshan on 16 June 1976, at the height of his career. Keeshan’s star is located at 1500 Vine Street, on the famed corner of Hollywood & Vine.
Engraved upon the star is the television symbol that appears on Keeshan’s Hollywood Boulevard square, denoting his fame in that medium. Above the symbol, star is engraved, “BOB KEESHAN / (Capt. Kangaroo)”.
A rectangular plaque along the bottom records the date as 16 June 1976 and the governing body as Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Keeshan’s star is located at 1500 Vine Street, on the famed corner of Hollywood & Vine.
And secondly,
Few can forget Fonda’s pivotal role as the charismatic, laconic “Captain America” whose motorcycle jacket bore a large American flag across the back.
Fonda produced and starred in the 1968 film, “Easy Rider,” as well as countless other films in his formidable career.
We are excited to have up for auction:
