Robert Watson signed oil on board, titled ''Two Figures''. Watson famously created the artwork for Ray Bradbury's 1953 edition of ''The Martian Chronicles'', depicting a surreal utilitarian landscape similar to this painting. Signed ''R. Watson 77'' at lower right. Measures approximately 10'' x 8''. Minor soiling and discoloration to edges from framing, overall very good edition. From the estate of Robert Watson, then by descent to his granddaughter Georgia Watson.
