Rare program to the world premiere of ''Gone With the Wind'' in 1939, held at Loew's Grand Theatre in Atlanta on 15 December. Illustrated movie program features cast bios and articles written by Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable on playing the iconic roles of Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler. Program also features production notes and more than a dozen color sketches and photographs. Measures 9'' x 12'' and runs 20pp. Foxing and wear to covers, and 1.5'' split along bottom seam; interior is near fine. Lot also includes several pages of news clippings from December 1939 covering the events.
