''Chicago Daily Tribune'' newspaper dated 3 November 1948 exclaiming ''G.O.P. WINS WHITE HOUSE!'', the erroneous headline published in the afternoon after their first mishap of ''Dewey Defeats Truman'' in the morning. It wouldn't be until the next day when the Tribune finally called the 1948 Presidential election correctly, with Democrat Harry Truman as the President-elect. Paper is the Home edition with the first section running 26pp. and the second section running 14pp. Paper has some toning and foxing, with some chipping as expected, but with no significant loss of paper. Very good condition.
