This portrait of Einstein in a relaxed and contemplative pose is one of Karsh's most famous portraits in a canon that includes nearly every major figure of the second half of the 20th century. Image measures 10.25'' square and entire photogravure measures 13.375'' x 16.5''. With Karsh's stamp on verso. Near fine condition with striking contrast.
