Dated 1 January 1914, he writes on official stationery to magazine editor Edward Bok: ''...I find your much appreciated Christmas present on my return to the city. I would not have thought of charging you for the interest[?] however. Mrs. Bryan joins me in a new year greeting to you & yours. Very truly yours, W.J. Bryan''. 2pp. letter on a single sheet measures 7'' x 9''. Some bleeding to ink. Very good.
