In this sketch of Woody Woodpecker dressed in a Hawaiian outfit juggling pineapples, Lantz signs below the character, ''1978 Walter Lantz''. This rendition of Lantz's most beloved creation is sketched in ink on paper. Lantz closed his prestigious ''Walter Lantz Productions'' six years prior to penning this piece. Drawing measures 8.5'' x 11.5'', in fine condition. Frame measures 16'' x 18.5''. Fine.
