Walt Disney signed ''Pinocchio'', published by Random House: New York: 1939. Hardcover volume is inscribed upon the copyright page in giant bold letters in Disney's distinctive hand, ''To Al / Best / Wishes / Walt Disney''. A small note appears to the upper right, ''To Al Parke'' in an unknown hand, and 1940 has been lightly written at the bottom of the page. Unpaginated children's story book is illustrated in both color and black and white, and is signed throughout by more than 20 early Disney animators. Bound in pictorial paper boards with blue cloth spine and pictorial endpapers. Measures 8.5'' x 11.5''. Ever so slight toning to leaves, cocking to spine and wear to the bottom edges of boards. Near fine.
