Photo mat signed by the pioneering psychoanalyst Carl Jung, without inscription. Silver gelatin photo of Jung measures 4.625'' x 6.875'', mounted to 6.5'' x 9.125'' mat, upon which Jung signs, ''C.J. Jung.'' in black fountain pen. Apart from Freud, Jung is arguably the most influential psychoanalyst of the 20th century, with his influence extending to literature, anthropology, religious studies and psychiatry. Some silvering and buckling to photo, and foxing to mat. Overall in very good condition with a bold signature.
