Capote signs the half-title page in blue ink, ''with all good wishes, Truman Capote''. Bound in burgundy cloth boards with gilt lettering. Top edge black. Measures 5.76'' x 8.5'' and runs 343pp. With original unclipped first printing dust jacket showing $5.95 price in remarkable near fine condition with just a touch of chipping on spine edges. Label affixed by previous owner to front endpaper, otherwise book is near fine. Housed in beautiful custom-made burgundy clamshell box with leather titling.
