Popular saxophonist and singer Tex Beneke's plaque from receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Beneke famously played with the Glenn Miller Band and sang on ''Chattanooga Choo Choo'', the first song to ever receive an RCA Gold Record award in 1942. Plaque features a miniature of the star mounted to a black velvet backing. Beneath, an engraved plaque names Beneke and cites 12 September 1991 as the date the star was placed at its location on Hollywood Blvd. Official Chamber of Commerce sticker to verso. Measures 10.5'' x 16.5''. Engraved portion has minor scratching and small marks to left edge, frame has small mark on right edge, overall very good condition.
