Brilliant Emmy Award, presented at the 2002 Sports Emmy Awards to Producer Vince Manze for coverage of the Olympics. Salt Lake City hosted the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, notable for garnering a record number of viewers in the billions as well as a record number of events. The base's flat perimeter reads ''The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences''. Front section is engraved with 5 lines naming the award, its category and recipient: ''2002 Sports Emmy Awards / Outstanding Live Sports Special / 'XIX Olympic Winter Games' / NBC / Vince Manze, Producer''.
