Dated and postmarked 12 October 1964, Laurel writes a postcard to his friend Bill Starkell, in part, ''Yes the Famous TROLLEY CAR [likely referencing the Laurel and Hardy film ''Hog Wild''] is really antique - I believe the only one of its kind in existence - frankly I could live without them.!! I recall your telling me Harpo Marx playing in Portland - now Eddie Cantor - the old-timers are gradually disappearing, very few left now[signed] Stan Laurel''.
