Costume sketch from the 1940 film ''Northwest Passage'', showing the various clothes designed for the Native Americans in the film, which has been since heavily criticized for its racist depictions. Sketch is rendered on board measuring 20'' x 15'', with a note on top reading ''Check with [Arlington] Valles for decorative data''. Some toning and chips to edges, overall very good condition.
