Stunning King George III silver tray. Simple and elegant oval-shaped tray features a plain center, surrounded by a gadrooned rim and reeded double handles, standing on four half-fluted feet. Interior rim is engraved with a crest. With maker's mark and stamps to underside. Measures 27'' x 17.5'' and weighs 9.5 pounds. Some shallow scratching, else near fine.
