Lot of President Reagan items, including a White House pass, box of jelly beans and an ornate Christmas stocking gifted by President Ronald Reagan in 1983 to Amy Benham, a seven-year-old girl who was invited through the Make-a-Wish foundation to light the White House Christmas tree on 15 December 1983. The touching event became a national story, and this lot includes an original VHS tape with footage of Benham, including her comment that the President gave her ''jelly beans!'' Red and green velvet stocking is in the shape of a boot, with four bells, green and gold piping and a brown faux fur collar. Accompanied by clear ''Ronald Reagan'' jar of jelly beans in the original White House box with Reagan's facsimile signature. Lot also includes a White House pass used by Amy's family. In addition to the VHS tape, lot includes a DVD with news footage of the tree-lighting ceremony and news clippings from the family about the event. Stocking measures 27'' long and 14'' wide at the boot. Jelly bean box measures 5.5'' square, and jar measures 5.5'' tall and 4'' at the base. Pass measures 2.75'' x 4''. Very good to near fine condition.
