Rare Palm Beach, Florida 2000 Election Ballot Transfer Case -- The County That Caused the U.S. Presidential Election to Be Decided by the Supreme Court

Heavy-duty steel case used to transfer the ballots in Palm Beach County during the fateful 2000 Presidential election. Steel box includes a six-step ballot handling procedure and an unused ballot count chart. Each case was sealed with a wire that was placed through the cover latch before transfer. Another label on top of the case dictates the sealing procedure to prevent vote tampering. Each case also has a unique three digit serial number. Amazing piece of election history. Near fine.
