Scarce 1970 FIFA World Cup Championship Finals player ring awarded to one of the players participating in the final match. As the ninth FIFA World Cup, the tournament was held in Mexico and marked the first tournament held in North America. Brazil beat Italy 4-1 in the Final. Brazilian football legend Pele scored a career-defining epic goal and Brazil claimed their 3rd World Cup title, allowing them to permanently keep the Jules Rimet Trophy, and a new trophy was introduced in 1974. Center of the ring has a soccer ball outlined with the words ''Mundial De Futbol'', with the official ''Mexico 70'' World Cup logo to right side and the Jules Rimet Trophy engraved to left side. With ''10k'' engraved to inner band, gold ring is a size 8, or .75'' in diameter, and weighs 16 grams or just over .5 ounces. Near fine.
