Official document from the JFK White House, dated March 1961 and titled ''White House China Room'', detailing the history of Presidential china spanning two hundred years. In part, ''...Originally, White House china was kept in the butler's pantry; later, it was placed in cabinets along the lower corridor...Following the 1952 Renovation, the china was placed in new cabinets...'' Document then lists the noteworthy pieces of china acquired by each President, ending with Eisenhower. It lastly mentions details of silverware and glassware. 8pp. document measures 8.5'' x 11''. Paperclip residue to top page of one sheet additionally with ''sally'' written in pencil to top right (Sally Powers, secretary to White House curator Lorraine Pearce). Very good condition.
