Appointment is dated 8 December 1930, signed in large script ''Herbert Hoover'' at lower right and countersigned by Secretary of State Henry Stimson. Paper seal of the United States is fully intact at lower left. Measures 20'' x 16''. Light uniform toning with darker block of toning at top. Faint foxing and one horizontal fold with separation starting at right edge. Overall very good condition.
