Pope Pius IX document signed. Written in French, document is titled ''Very Holy Father'' and appears to be a formal request of sanctity, as the requester is ''humbly prostrate at the feet''. Document is dated October, but exact day and year are unknown. Signed by Pope Pius IX at bottom. Mounted to thin piece of board measuring 13'' x 8''. Very good condition. Lot also includes two other Papal documents including a 2.5'' x 4.5'' photo of Pope Piux IX with photographer's label on back ''John Clarck / Photographie''.
