Paperweight made from items collected from the White House during its 1950 renovation when much of the White House interior was reconstructed. Lucite block features limestone and granite pieces, each measuring approximately .75'', and a well-worn nail measuring 1'' long, along with the official restoration plaque reading, ''Original White House Material / Removed in 1950''. Lucite measures 2.5'' square and 1.375'' deep. Minor scratching to lucite, overall near fine.
