Mary Astor autograph letter signed. Upon stationery bearing her Malibu address, Astor writes to her agent Gloria Safier. Letter reads in part, ''Hi! Would you please call whoever has to be called to dig up a hard-back copy of 'My Story'...Mrs. H wrote a book, 'You Are Not The Target' - which, in spite of Time mag is very good. I met her not long ago and she is nice people. Love Mary...'' Single page letter measures 8.5'' x 11''. Stapled at the upper left with a copy of a reply from Safier's assistant. Overall near fine.
