Lot of three awards owned by Louise Fletcher, Best Actress Oscar winner for ''One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest''. Lot includes:
1) ''Award for Excellence Cinema'', awarded to Fletcher in 2004 by the Sarasota Film Festival. Award is a flat sheet of glass measuring 10'' x 8'' with etching on front. Near fine condition.
2) Kennedy Center ''In Celebration'' award, given to Fletcher in 1976, shortly after she won the Academy Award for ''One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest''. Wooden plaque with blue mirrored overlay is engraved: ''With Deep Appreciation to Louise Fletcher for a Memorable Performance 'In Celebration 1976' Kennedy Center''. Measures 10'' x 8'' x .75''. A few scratches, overall very good.
3) Genie Awards nomination from 1981 awarded to Fletcher for her role in ''The Lucky Star''. Fletcher's nomination here for Best Performance by a Foreign Actress is the second year that the Genie Awards were presented, recognizing the best in Canadian film. Certificate measures 17'' x 12.5''. Near fine condition.
