Original Hal Foster signed preliminary artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' comic strip, #2116 in the series. Pencil sketch was for the strip published on 28 August 1977, hand-drawn by Foster as the strip transitioned from Foster to John Cullen Murphy. Lot also includes a typed story outline, and separate typed story narration. All three sheets measure 8.5'' x 11''. Three hole punch, and light wear, overall in very good plus condition. With Prince Valiant label in first panel, and signed by Foster on last panel. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
