Sketch drawn by world-famous Italian opera singer Enrico Caruso, unsigned. Portrait depicts a cloaked figure posing in profile, likely an opera performer and acquaintance of Caruso. Sketch is rendered in ink and pencil upon the verso of a card printed, ''Consolato Generale D'Italia...'' Measures 3.5'' x 4.75''. Taped to a mat to an overall size of 4.75'' x 5.75''. Toning and creasing to bottom corners, else near fine. Identified as part of a larger collection of Caruso caricatures.
