Typed letter unsigned from the office of Gunther Pancke, the Nazi SS leader in Denmark during its occupation. Undated letter is on official ''HoHere SS- und Polizeifuhrer / in Danemark'' stationery, which designates Pancke's office after October 1943. Lot also includes original envelope bearing stamps of the Nazi party. Letter, though untranslated, clearly mentions Hitler, Churchill, Stalin and other WWII topics, referring to the downfall of the Allied powers and Hitler's ultimate victory. A red ''Gepruft'' stamp appears on the letter, indicating it had been audited to prevent confidential information from being intercepted. Single page letter measures 8.25'' x 17''. Folds and minor toning throughout. Very good condition.
