Napoleon Bonaparte military document signed as Emperor of France, countersigned by French Minister of War Henri Clarke as duc de Feltre. Document is dated 18 November 1812 at top, but actually signed by Napoleon on 7 February 1813, following Napoleon's crippling retreat from Russia the following winter. Measures 7.75'' x 12.25'', hinged at top edge to mat measuring 10.5'' x 14.5''. Some foxing, overall very good condition.
